The Boston & Maine RR Historical Society's Archives Committee will meet on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at its usual location:  The Center For Lowell History, 40 French St., Lowell, Ma.  Site is adjacent to Bordinghouse Park, across from Lowell High School.                          Quoting from chairman Rick Nowell's recent committee report for year 2016, "The visitor (to the archives), will find photographs, slides, negatives, right of way and track maps, valuation surveys, timetables, books, periodicals, mechanical drawings of structures and equipment, and a wealth of data organized alphabetically by subject-Abandonments, Accidents, Baggage, etc." Committee members strive to have the above material available for anyone with interest in the history of the B&M RR. Quoting further, "Current hours are Tuesday through Friday, 9:00AM to 5:00PM."
