ORER Notes

Discussion, General Notes

  • 6/1901 - Split off of 26842-26899 - I am not sure if this difference already existed (i.e. these are existing cars that are now being treated separately), or if cars were actually renumbered, or if this is a new series of cars.
These were re-combined with the originals, and re-split in 5/1903.
  • 5/1903 - this appears to be a renumbering to split into 3 distinct series of cars (28-31'; 32'; and 33')
Each of the new series will be tracked separately.
  • 6/1903 - not sure what happened to any remaining cars in number range 24000-24999 (I am assuming, if any were left, they got renumbered into one of the new series)
  • Renumbering: Note there are also "new" series:
    25000-25499 (28-31')
    25500-25599 (32')
    26600-26899 (33')
    30000-31499 (34', 40000 lbs)
    31500-31999 (34', 50000)
    32000-32099 (28-60', 40-100000) ("Special")
    32100-33999 (34', 60000)
