    Note "A" end ladders cut down, roofwalk removed. "B" end still had "high" ladders.

  • REW B&MRRHS Modelers Notes No 19 (Oct, 1990), p2 has an article on upgrading [I think] the Details West kit for this car (or is it for the 100 series?)
  • B&MRRHS Modelers Notes No 20 (Jan, 1991), p2 Harry Frye noted the following:
    • B end had 2 full-length ladders , and had roof grabs
    • High-mounted brake wheel
    • Another grab mounted by the plug door
    • End tack board should be removed
