The ORER listings for 29000 series [ore or stock] cars is a bit ambiguous
(outside width at eaves or top of platform):

What I *suspect* is that the ore cars were being retired, and they decided to use the same number series for new stock cars (to keep the new stock cars next to the other stock car number series) and that the change in "description" and dimensions weren't updated quite in synch.
For 10/1914, I am unsure if that is the last old ore car, or the first new stock car. Until I learn otherwise, I am treating it as the "first new stock car".
