The city of Lowell will host its annual Folk Festival on July 26. (night only), 27 and 28. On Saturday the 27th and Sunday the 28th, the B&MRRHS will have its wooden, truss rod B&M combine-coach available for visitors. It will be open from 10:00AM until 5:00PM both days. Located at the corner of Merrimac and Dutton, this authentic car has been beautifully restored and displays numerous photos, artifacts and furnishings of the B&M RR in Lowell and elsewhere. Items for sale include hats, shirts and outerwear, all marked B&M. An HO model railroad, depicting the canal era in Lowell, is also located in the “combine”. There is no charge and society members will be on-board and happy to discuss our railroad with all visitors.
