The Boston & Maine passenger car, aka the combine, will be open each Saturday in July and August, from 1:00PM until 4:00PM. Beginning on July 6, 2019 and concluding on August 31, 2019, the car offers artifacts, photos and images of B&M railroading in Lowell and New England, An operating HO model railroad is also on display. Please note: The weekend of the LOWELL FOLK FESTIVAL has an extended schedule for the B&M combine.. For Saturday, July 27 as well as Sunday, July 28, visitors are invited in from 10:00AM until 5:00PM, both days. On all days when the car is open, members of the B&M Railroad Historical Society will be present to provide background and answer any questions. B&M marked outer ware and other rail related items will be available for purchase. Location is the corner or Dutton St. and Merrimac St. in downtown Lowell, Ma. There is, of course, no charge.
